Summer Wrap Up!

Can you believe the summer is almost over?? Crazy huh. This has been a wild summer for me. So many great things have happened, many of which I am still trying to process. Musically it’s been a whirl.

I started playing with Key Wilde and Mr Clarke in early summer and had some great gigs with them this summer including the NJ Balloon Festival. We will be playing a block party in brooklyn on Sept 8th (details to follow). Also had a few gigs with Blush Response and am really excited for a gig later in Sept (details to follow). Blush has just finished a new album and hopefully we will be doing some new songs at the next gig.

I am also very happy to have played gigs and made great connections with some General Business bands in the area that I hope to be working with more next summer. It was a blast getting into some practice time learning tunes for these bands. Nothing like the thrill of new material to wake you up musically!

A lot of my time this summer was spent doing drum circles for special needs adults in Brooklyn. We had a lot of fun and many a good jam. I am so excited to be continuing this relationship into the fall and will be increasing my time doing circles. Very exciting!

Can’t wait for all that lies ahead in the fall. It will be great to get back into the swing of lessons. Click Here for more info on my private lessons.
